Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

ParentSync handles two different kinds of payments: a school's subscription to the ParentSync software, and a parent's fee payment to an independent school. The rules below distinguish them.

1. ParentSync subscriptions

Schools may request cancellation of a ParentSync subscription by contacting support@parentsync.net. Cancellation stops future renewal according to the school's applicable order form, agreement, billing cycle, and mandatory law.

Subscription charges already paid are refundable only where the school's written agreement, an approved written exception, or applicable law requires a refund. Any approved refund is returned to the original payment method unless another lawful method is agreed in writing.

2. School fee payments

The independent school or academy shown at checkout is the education provider and fee payee. That school determines whether a tuition or other school-fee payment is eligible for cancellation, adjustment, or refund under its own published fee policy and applicable law.

  • Parents should first contact the school named on the payment or receipt.
  • The school must authorise any school-fee refund.
  • ParentSync may facilitate the technical request and maintain the payment audit trail, but does not independently decide the school's refund entitlement.
  • Approved refunds are processed through the applicable payment provider's split-aware refund flow and returned using the provider's permitted method.

3. Processing and status

Once a refund is approved and submitted, payment-provider and banking processing times apply. ParentSync or the school will provide the available refund reference or status. The time for the credit to appear can vary by payment method, issuing bank, and provider review. A refund is not treated as completed merely because a browser page says it was requested.

4. Failed or duplicate payments

If a payment fails but the parent's account appears debited, or if the same fee appears to have been charged more than once, contact the school and support@parentsync.net with the school name, student, date, amount, and provider reference. Do not send full card, bank-account, PIN, OTP, or UPI credential details.

5. Delivery and shipping

ParentSync is a digital software service. No physical goods are sold or shipped through the ParentSync subscription or school-fee payment feature. Software access is delivered electronically. Education-service delivery remains the responsibility of the school or academy identified to the parent.
